The Fox: Directed by Klaas van Eijkeren. With Morgan C. Jones, Maarten Dannenberg, Eric Corton, Anita Donk. The Hague-based Europol agent Simon Fox (Morgan C. Jones) leads a troubled life after he accidentally shot and killed a child. Struggling with this trauma Simon is confronted with a secret post-war resistance organization called ‘Gladio’. The organization is abused by illustrious politicians in their hunger for power, as a result of which The Netherlands is likely to degenerate into a police state. When it becomes clear that Simon’s father established ‘Gladio’ after the war with very different intentions, Simon is determined to turn the tide..

“An Europol agent (with a lot of bad memories and rage), attends his father funeral in Ireland and asked by his superior to check on a death over there.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAt the crime scene meet a local policeman full of conspiration theories and without willing gets involved in a political conspiration where bodies start to pile up.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAfter a somewhat slow start; things star moving on and while we immediately know the culprits; things gets very claustrophobic.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAs in many political thrillers, there endings that are not that happy. Many people dies and things are far from fun but totally entertaining.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIn brief; while not based on real events you can easily relate with many politics in Europe. It could have been better but still worth our time.”
