“This is yet another odd experimental film from the DVD collection u0026quot;Unseen Cinema: Early American Avant-Garde Film 1894-1941u0026quot;. Most of the films in this collection are very short and have almost no interest to the casual viewer. In other words, only weird cinemaniacs like me might find them of interest.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMary Ellen Bute and Ted Nemeth made this film which consists various bars moving across the screen while geometric shapes appear and move. Itu0026#39;s all set to Bachu0026#39;s Tocata and Fuge in D Minor and the color is very vibrant–and very early. You really cannot rate an art film like this and itu0026#39;s something youu0026#39;ll just need to see for yourself…provided you are the sort that might try seeing such an esoteric film.”
