100 Years: Directed by Melinda Janko. “100 Years” is the David vs. Goliath story of Elouise Cobell, a petite, Native American Warrior who filed the largest class action lawsuit ever filed against the United States Government and WON a $3.4 billion settlement for 300,000 Native Americans whose mineral-rich lands were mismanaged by the Department of the Interior.

“This film ignores the real scandal. The Bush administration agreed to settle this class action with an $8 billion dollar settlement, given to the actual 500,000 Native American individuals who were heirs lost value from the federal land grabs the case centered on.nInstead Cobelle participated in a giant RIP OFF, where she agreed with Obama administration to not only slash total given to victims in what would fall to $1.4 billion, but also to give it in large part to u0026quot;organisationsu0026quot; that in no way were harmed by the land grabs. Those organisations were big Obama supporters, wow, what a surprise!nUnder the Bush plan the affected individuals would have gotten about $15,000 each. Under the Obama plan then got under $2,000 each. No wonder Obama gave her the u0026quot;Presidential Medalu0026quot; she was as bad as the tribal chiefs who sold millions of acres for whiskey!”
