The Wishing Well: Directed by David Jackson. With Jordan Ladd, Jason London, Ernest Borgnine, Sally Kellerman. Ambitious big city reporter arrives in a small town to write about its legendary wishing well. She writes a shoddy article, thinking it’s all a joke, but throws in a coin and wishes to be happy, just for the fun of it. Magic happens.

“Despite the u0026#39;10u0026#39; I gave it, no, itu0026#39;s not an Oscar contender. Yes, itu0026#39;s predictable and follows theu0026#39;Movie of the Weeku0026#39; formula. This said, I enjoyed it. As far as the made-for-TV-corny-romance-movie-of-the-week genre goes, I think it earns the 10. Iu0026#39;ve never reviewed a movie on here before, but after reading the only review decided to throw in my two cents. Maybe itu0026#39;s because Iu0026#39;m a small-town girl who moved to the u0026#39;big cityu0026#39;…maybe itu0026#39;s because sometimes I just enjoy a corny Hallmark movie on a Saturday night. Over the holidays I caught several movies with Jason London u0026amp; Ernest Borgnine and am becoming rather fond of them…or was it Jeremy London u0026amp; Ed Asner…maybe thatu0026#39;s it. Anyway, whatever the case, Iu0026#39;d watch it again!”
