The Plagiarists: Directed by Peter Parlow. With William Michael Payne, Emily Davis, Lucy Kaminsky, Eamon Monaghan. A young couple is shaken by a seemingly fraudulent yet unprovable act that strikes to the core of their cultural pretensions.

“This is just my opinion of this film, so take it or leave it. Now, I like drama movies. That being said, drama is probably the flattest movie genre, with the exception of maybe a documentary. This movie was neither. I really donu0026#39;t know what youu0026#39;d call it. It felt flavorless, bland, and about as flat as a Mountain Dew that has been sitting in the sun for 2 days. I didnu0026#39;t understand the point of it at all… There was hardly a plot and what little of one there was just made absolutely no sense. A guy quotes something from a book and doesnu0026#39;t clarify that what he spoke was not in his own words, and then about half way or so into the movie, the couple that the movie centers around makes a mountain out of a molehill from it. Their little panic attack over the fact only lasts a short bit of the movie anyway so I havenu0026#39;t spoiled anything. Other than getting to know two characters who are a farcry from interesting, this movie really has nothing to offer. It was also one of those indie movies where the film quality made it painfully obvious that they were on an incredibly low budget. Thank Christ it was short. If you skip this one, you wonu0026#39;t be missing out on much at all. I have no doubt that there is a following of fans for movies of this sort, but it is a very unique taste and definitely not meant for my pallet.”
