Orbiter 9 – Das letzte Experiment: Directed by Hatem Khraiche. With Clara Lago, Álex González, Andrés Parra, Belén Rueda. Helena is a young girl who spent all her life in a space pod just after her birth, traveling from Earth to a distant planet where she will reunite with others space colonials, with the voice of the on-board computer as only one company. Arriving to a space station for maintenance works, Helena meets Álex, the repairman, falling in love with him quickly. But Álex, still traumatized by the ghosts of his own past, decides some days later after to meet Helena break all rules and reveal her the truth.

“The beautiful Clara Lago is on her way from a ruined Earth to Celeste, and awakes in her space- pod to find someone docking – the first living person sheu0026#39;ll meet apart from her deceased parents. But the handsome engineer who visits to fix her oxygen is offhand, even though he kisses her… You can see the first of the twists coming (itu0026#39;s in the trailer) but some of the others are nicely handled. This low-key futuristic Spanish-made adventure has some good ideas, a pleasing score and cool visuals, but the director could have made more of the storyu0026#39;s tragic implications.”
