Parallel World Love Story: Directed by Yoshitaka Mori. With Yûta Tamamori, Riho Yoshioka, Shôta Sometani, Nicole Ishida. “A world” – After graduating from a university, close friends Takashi Tsurug and Tomohiko Miwa begin work at a company which does brain research. One day, Tomohiko introduces Mayuko Tsuno as his girlfriend. Takashi is stunned. When he was a university student, Takashi saw Mayuko Tsuno every day on the train opposite from the one he rode. He became attracted to her back then. “B world” – When Takashi Tsurug wakes up, his girlfriend Mayuko Tsuno makes breakfast as usual at his apartment. His friend Tomohiko Miwa introduced him to Mayuko and they have lived happily as a couple. Everything seems to be going smoothly, but Takashi begins to have doubts. Tomohiko, who worked with him at the same company, disappears and he can’t discern if his memory is real or imaginary.

“Good performances, particularly by the male lead, but the supporting cast does a good job as well. While the one other reviewer here suggests it is difficult to distinguish between the two worlds being shown, I only thought that initially – I was looking for some obvious visual cue (Mementou0026#39;s use of Bu0026amp;W vs color to indicate which timeline you are viewing being an excellent example). I fairly shortly realized I was thinking about it too hard. it really is pretty easy to follow if you pay attention to which characters are in which scenes.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI think the main thing to recommend this film is the basic idea of it and the slow burn unfolding of it. I am glad the film doesnu0026#39;t make it immediately obvious what is going on. It creates some tension as one tries to understand the relationship between the two worlds and what causes the change in circumstances. The production itself is modest. I was somewhat reminded of the movie u0026quot;Primeru0026quot; in terms of a modest production that does a great job with the story.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI would love to write a couple of other comments, but I personally think a film like this is better to watch cold, so I have been deliberately vague in a couple of areas and will leave unmentioned a 2004 film which I was strongly reminded of by the end of this movie.”
