“Quite a good film. Nicely delves into themes of patriotism vs morality. Interesting settings and the art directing was great!u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe scenes u0026quot;from Canadau0026quot; were quite were quite funny as I am from the u0026#39;88 Olympics host city. Although, interesting to the storyline, we do not have stripper places like that in canmore / banff and no cab driver would ever throw you out of the cab into the snow like that. We are Canadian! The driver would politely ask for the money and then ask your to pay the next day, or report it to the RCMP. The Cowboy hats were especially funny. They must have been bought in spain or online. nothing like a real cowboy hat (but what is a Canadian cowboy anyway besides a funny costume from the past??)u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOverall quite a good film. I always like story-lines that are particular to a time and place and compartmentalized to intertwined lives. The Toivo was well developed, displaying characteristics of short-shortsightedness, hope, detachment from reality, and delusions of fantasy.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eA funny, sweet and poignant film.”
