The Last Appeal: Directed by Michael Feifer, Trey Fernald. With John Eric Bentley, Jason Sims-Prewitt, Kimberly Arland, Robert Wu. Convicted of first-degree murder, Titus Freeman enters Death Row determined to overturn his sentence but is forced to confront a haunting truth that he cannot escape.

“The story is about a man who lands on death row for a very significant crime. He has a friend trying to get him off death row based on some u0026quot;oddu0026quot; circumstances surrounding his crime. Some will consider this movie u0026quot;preachyu0026quot;, but given the setting and circumstances, u0026quot;preachyu0026quot; has its place here. The only real problem with the movie is the u0026quot;low budgetu0026quot; look. If you are observant, you may be very tempted to pick-apart the production value of the movie. Stick with the story, forget the staging details, and you may find this compelling. The end is unexpected.”
