Harlekin: Directed by Simon Wincer. With Robert Powell, David Hemmings, Carmen Duncan, Broderick Crawford. An enigmatic faith healer – who appears to possess genuine magical powers – and a political fixer vie for influence over a senator and his family.

“As a long-time fan of Robert Powell, I have to say he was fantastic in this little known film, which I saw under the title u0026quot;Dark Forces.u0026quot; The actoru0026#39;s ability is far under rated -why, Iu0026#39;ll never know. This tale of a mysterious being entering the lives of a family was curiously spiritual as well as supernatural. I even found Powell quoting a line from his masterpiece u0026quot;Jesus of Nazareth.u0026quot; There were some unanswered questions in the film, but I wasnu0026#39;t bothered by this. After all, the supernatural leaves a lot of gaps for us to dwell on and come up with our own conclusions.”
