Der magische Weihnachtsschmuck: Directed by Don McBrearty. With Jessica Lowndes, Brendan Penny, Farah Merani, Stephen Huszar. “After a bad breakup, former Christmas lover Marie (Lowndes) loses her Christmas spirit. Trying to restore it, her mother sends Marie Christmas ornaments from her childhood, and a coincidental blessing follows each one. Marie’s Christmas spirit gets another boost when she meets her handsome neighbor, Nate (Penny), and feels a spark with him while celebrating the season. When Marie’s boss assigns her to edit the book of the man who caused her holiday heartache, however, the task resurfaces doubts from the past and even causes her to push Nate away. Feeling lost both at work and in love, Marie looks for a Christmas miracle to give her the confidence to pursue her work goals and to try to win Nate back. As Christmas approaches, Marie must follow her heart’s passion – both at work and in love – and hope for one more blessing from her magical Christmas ornaments.”

“Another Brendan Penny film and I donu0026#39;t mind one bit. He is just so charming and lovely. Iu0026#39;m not sure what he sees in Jessica Lowndes character though, I might have found it more likely if sheu0026#39;d ended up with her ex (Also hot by the way).u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI did like the idea of the potential magic in the ornaments, it made the story flow well, without it actually being a fantasy story.nThe hospital element was also a nice touch and I love any reference to u0026#39;A Christmas Carolu0026#39;, but Iu0026#39;ve never understood why there is a toy drive for kids in hospital? Just because they broke their leg, it doesnu0026#39;t make their parents paupers who canu0026#39;t afford to buy a book or something? All Iu0026#39;m saying is that there might be other charities out there that need help more? Ones that provide water, food and shelter maybe?u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eItu0026#39;s not a bad film overall, Iu0026#39;ve made it sound a bit off in what Iu0026#39;ve written above, but with Brendan in it, how could we go wrong?”
