It was incredibly confusing and offered literally nothing to the Cloverfield universe. Actually, it did the exact opposite. I still canu0026#39;t wrap my head around what this movie was trying to go for.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe cast was great and did what they could with the script but it was just a hot mess.
