“I just bought this and was looking forward to watching as I like all the main actors and am a film noir fan. This title is being marketed as a film noir – itu0026#39;s a good movie – but it definitely isnu0026#39;t a noir. I certainly donu0026#39;t stick to the narrow definition of a noir either.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI wonu0026#39;t bother to write a whole synopsis since that has been covered by earlier posts. Edward G Robinson never disappoints (even though he does kind of sound like Chico Marx in this) and Richard Conte is great. I hadnu0026#39;t seen Luther Adler in anything before but he was perfect in the role of the scorned older brother. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eLike I said it is a good movie…just donu0026#39;t expect a noir.”
