Run! Bitch Run! (2009)

Run! Bitch Run!: Directed by Joseph Guzman. With Ivet Corvea, Cheryl Lyone, John Winscher, Peter Tahoe. Things go horribly wrong when Catherine and Rebecca, two Catholic school girls, knock on the wrong door while selling religious paraphernalia.

“OK, I understand that this is supposed to be a throwback to the Golden Age of Grindhouse Sleaze, but it follows the recipe a little too well for my tastes. Lots of needless exposition between the few action scenes means that you lose attention (and sympathy) pretty quickly.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAnd like the grindhouse flicks, thereu0026#39;s quite a bit of u0026#39;cheatingu0026#39; in the film. The camera always cuts away from the money shots, so you get plenty of shots of someone sticking a gun in someone elseu0026#39;s face and then getting blood spattered on them in a reverse shot. It reminds me of something youu0026#39;d see in u0026quot;Sorority House Massacre.u0026quot; u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAnd as far as nudity or sex, thereu0026#39;s not really that much.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOverall, the discomfort this film might generate is pretty weak. Go see a true exploitation film, like u0026quot;Hanger,u0026quot; if you want to see this sort of thing done to the extreme.”
