“Wheeler has been described as Dorffu0026#39;s vanity project. It might be simplistic in its storyline but thereu0026#39;s a heart in the film. As a fantasy piece about someoneu0026#39;s dream coming true it comes over quaint and enjoyable to watch. Dorffu0026#39;s live performances stike a chord of authenticity for what is actually a faux documentary where some participants are unaware that itu0026#39;s fictional. The prosthetics are a little off-putting but this was necessary for Dorffu0026#39;s disguise. What doesnu0026#39;t quite work was the revealing of a dark secret because it was inconsequential. Also, the way the film concluded felt abrupt.”
