Kerouac, the Movie: Directed by John Antonelli. With Peter Coyote, Jack Coulter, Cindy Alwan, David Andrews. Jack Kerouac was a Beat Generation writer who took the nation by storm upon the publication of his novel On the Road. Kerouac’s legacy and influence are explained via interviews with Kerouac’s friends and contemporaries such as William S. Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, Herbert Huncke, and Edie Parker. Narrator Peter Coyote reads sections of Kerouac’s (mostly autobiographical) books as an actor recreates scenes from Kerouac’s life.

“Though this is a u0026quot;good movieu0026quot;, it did absolutely no justice to the book. If you are not a Kerouac fan or have no knowledge of him, you will most likely enjoy this movie. However, this movie is not even comparable to any of Jacku0026#39;s writings. I suggest you read his books to know who this man really is.”
