“Well, I take that back. I wasnu0026#39;t crazy about Val Kilmer.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI loved George Sanders, Louis Hayward, Ian Ogilvy and Roger Moore as The Saint. Since this version featured two ex-saints, Ogilvy and Moore, I wanted to see it.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eYikes.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThis is a TV movie, and if youu0026#39;ve been having trouble sleeping, this is just the thing. What a slow-moving bore replete with flashbacks of little Simon and the past life of his assistant (Eliza Dushku). And next to no plot.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIan Ogilvy looked awful — someone said here Moore looked awful – give the man a break – he was in his mid-u0026#39;80s (this was made in 2013 as a TV pilot and was not picked up – what a shock). No one is dazzling forever. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eLots of karate-type moves. Thatu0026#39;s about it. At an hour and a half, it felt like Birth of a Nation. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eSimon Rayner didnu0026#39;t excite me, although Iu0026#39;m sure heu0026#39;s very good in other films. But what could one expect from him, no doubt trying to stay awake.”
