“An interesting little independent movie, a solid effort for a first time filmmaker that shows potential. Itu0026#39;s pretty briskly paced at 90 minutes. There are two seperate storylines going on here that eventually intersect with each other in the third act. The main storyline is about a girl named Grace who has bad parents and runs away from home after her suicidal, drug-addict mother dies leaving her with her Dad. As a side-note, the guy who played the Dad did exceptionally well at being a total angry, pervy creep. Made my skin crawl everytime he was onscreen. The girl finds an abandoned house to lay low in, and at first I thought the house was haunted or maybe it was the girl using her Ouija board in this place that somehow activated this evil spirit but iu0026#39;m still not sure, iu0026#39;ll have to watch it again. The secondary storyline is about a lawyer whose wife just died and he seems to be involved in some sort of embezzelement with his firm. The two main characters eventually meet up when he saves her from the main bad guy, a snarling pimp, drug-dealer called Q. Together, theyu0026#39;re on the run from the pimp and her Dad who is searching for her. Things get dark and characters begin to die at this point and it gets a lot more horror-ish and supernatural. This evil spirit is kind of like Venom i think, it has attached itself to the girl and is helping her stand up for herself through the use of this dark force. She even says a line about u0026quot;righting the wrongs of the worldu0026quot; lol. Really almost could be a dark-superhero–drama-horror movie.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eStory = 7nActing = 7.5nWriting = 6.5nDirecting = 7nMusic = 9nEditing = 9nSound = 5.5nOverall = 7.5”
