“The acting ranges from atrocious to uneven to u0026quot;Hey, some of these people can cry on cue!u0026quot; I enjoyed Tanya Clarkeu0026#39;s wickedly camp performance the most, but the characters are either limp and ineffectual or cartoonish and inadvertently hilarious. The locations arenu0026#39;t immersive. The dialogue is stock, stilted, and nonsensical. Check out this exchange to get a better idea:u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMomu0026#39;s question: u0026quot;What are you guys doing (in the bathroom)?u0026quot;u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFriendu0026#39;s response: u0026quot;Oh, you know, just having girl time.u0026quot;u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e…Not to judge, but wtf is that supposed to mean and why is it happening in the bathroom? XD Seriously, some of these lines are laugh-out-loud terrible. A little clarity — or depth or ingenuity or authenticity — would go a long way here, but perhaps thatu0026#39;s asking too much of this network nowadays.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI used to watch LMN when I was young and can even recall some of the better films (A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story; Gracieu0026#39;s Choice; The Burning Bed; Taken from Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story; Stockholm, Pennsylvania). But once youu0026#39;ve actually sat through and tried to digest one of these newer u0026quot;plotsu0026quot; — u0026#39;cause they darn sure arenu0026#39;t stories — it raises the question of where the quality went (or semblance of quality, depending on your opinion of the channel). Guess artistic integrity is no real match for the numbers game now, is it? *sigh*u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eTo sum up, there are character motivations — sometimes. There are half-decent scenes — less than half the time. Most of the time the flick is as this review title suggests. Very little actually happens and when something does, you donu0026#39;t feel a thing about it…aside from the glee of having the shadowy side of your funnybone tickled.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI guarantee you and I have both seen worse, but I wouldnu0026#39;t recommend wasting your time on this unless youu0026#39;re in the mood to have a derisive chuckle or two. I tuned in for a different reason but ended up staying for the lulz, so for that itu0026#39;s a 3/10.”
