“I only saw this film recently after I read about the attacks in the LA Times.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI saw this film in Massachusetts, on a weekend retreat, with nearly a dozen women who are Christian. If I recall correctly 80% of the women were African American (Black).u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIt is for these women, and their courage to survive, I rate the film with a ten. Each left the conference empowered and emotional.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI say letu0026#39;s all sue Satan for all heu0026#39;s worth, you know? It may not have been as realistic as their lives, but it was and is a good stand in for how people were and are treated when they have a belief set in Jesus Christ (risen from the Grave) people associate with shame.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe lawyer and his wife were a magnificent team. The balance of power of the two attorneys, their social differences added a second level of sensitivity and dimension to the themes of the film.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIt is one of those films that exceeds the teachable moment. And one other point, I loved that this film also shows love besides the hate and discord of the evil being known as the devil. donu0026#39;t need to say more.”
