The Elf (2016)

The Elf: Directed by Justin Price. With Natassia Halabi, Gabriel Miller, Lassiter Holmes, Lisa May. Nick is haunted by night terrors stemming from a tragic murder he saw when he was young. After inheriting an old toy shop, he discovers a cursed elf doll sealed inside an ancient chest with a naughty list of his family’s names written on it. He soon discovers that the elf was an evil conduit meant to unleash a supernatural killing spree during the Christmas Holidays by whomever set it free.

“I donu0026#39;t normally write reviews especially negative ones but this film was just frustrating to watch. Solely on how poorly the sound editing/mixing was done. The film editor, believed it was Khu, needs a better set of headphones. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI watched it on Amazon so maybe they received a poor version of the movie but I highly doubt it. I even try adjusting my audio settings but that didnu0026#39;t change anything. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe sound mixing isnu0026#39;t the film only issue. There is the poor pacing, bad acting, and a lazy script. I only gave it a 2/10 due to the fact that some of the cinematography was decent.”
