Beaver ist los!: Directed by Andy Cadiff. With Christopher McDonald, Janine Turner, Cameron Finley, Erik von Detten. The several misadventures and life-lessons learned by 8-year-old Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver in an entertaining and hilarious tale of a small-town Ohio family and the daily trials and tribunes of life.

“As someone who grew up watching u0026quot;Leave It To Beaveru0026quot; on television, and now on DVD, this u0026quot;upgradedu0026quot; movie version is disgusting.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOut-of-touch movie critics like Porter u0026amp; Martin, who have a best-selling paperback book each year of short movie reviews of anything on tape or disc, called this u0026quot;wholesomeu0026quot; fun. In fact, they said it was so wholesome kids of today might not want to see it, meaning it was too goody-goody for them. This shows you how out-of-touch film critics can be because compared to that 1950s show, this is HARDLY a wholesome movie.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIn this LITB, the young guys are all after girls and sex, use the word u0026quot;sucku0026quot; all the time and the story is filled with 1990s-type Hollywood portrayals and comments (Beaver was excited because he saw an R-rated movie, etc.)u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOverall, itu0026#39;s still a kidu0026#39;s movie and Cameron Finley is u0026quot;cuteu0026quot; as Theodore u0026quot;Beaveru0026quot; Cleaver and his parents are nice, but there are too may moral problems with this version. Stick to the TV shows, especially now that the first two seasons on DVD. Those are fantastic.”
