Schlagzeilen: Directed by Ron Howard. With Michael Keaton, Robert Duvall, Glenn Close, Marisa Tomei. New York City tabloid editor Henry’s faced with tough decisions while he faces several serious life challenges, and a tempting job offer.

“I loved this movie…a real 90s sleeper. Itu0026#39;s hard to determine why some films donu0026#39;t get the attention they deserve. The Paper is delightfully acted by an A-list ensemble in their prime. Itu0026#39;s hilariously funny, with great timing and pace, and some poignant overtones on commitment, loyalty, family, friendship, work and the workplace, and big city journalism.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFeel-good and sardonic at the same time, I did NOT find it completely predictable. The screenplay is terrific, with thoughtful, intelligent, brisk dialog. Not a dull moment; completely entertaining. A film for u0026quot;grown-upsu0026quot;. More kudos to Ron Howard.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eRenting it just to watch the superb Glen Closeu0026#39;s character, especially in the u0026quot;stop the pressesu0026quot; scene, is worth the time/money alone. A charming Marisa Tomei perfectly cast. Robert Duvall, Jason Alexander, Jason Robards, and of course Michael Keaton…whatu0026#39;s not to like? One of those films that can be watched many times by men and women alike. Highly recommended.”
