Houston: The Legend of Texas: Directed by Peter Levin. With Sam Elliott, Claudia Christian, Devon Ericson, Michael C. Gwynne. “From personal heartbreak to the epic fight for liberation, the glory of the Old West is captured in this grand life story of Sam Houston, the man whose bravery and vision led to the creation of Texas.” — from back of box

“This movie is very cheezy. The acting isnu0026#39;t perfect, but it is (sort of) accurate. I especially liked the way they portrayed the Cherokee and the Osage. It shows a little research on the produceru0026#39;s part, but they didnu0026#39;t really portray Sam Houstonu0026#39;s life so accurately. A lot of his life was over dramatized, but I can look over that.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIf you look at the movie in a whole view, it is ok… for TV. Recommended for viewing if you are bored and have an hour and a half to spare.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e6/10”
