Fairy Tales: Directed by Harry Hurwitz. With Don Sparks, Sy Richardson, Irwin Corey, Robert Harris. On his twenty-first birthday, the Prince goes on a quest that takes him across the land searching for the one woman that gets him sexually excited, Princess Sleeping Beauty.

“I regrettably saw this movie back to back with the German film u0026quot;Grimmu0026#39;s Fairy Tales for Adultsu0026quot; and while both films are obviously u0026quot;for adultsu0026quot;, the former actually managed to capture some of the spirit of the original Grimmu0026#39;s Fairy Tales while this film is your typically smutty, painfully unfunny, and crassly stupid u0026quot;parodyu0026quot; of the already highly bastardized American versions of the classic fairy tales (with a little Mother Goose thrown in for good measure). For instance, in this movie the Old Woman Who Lives in a Shoe (Brenda Fogerty) is a madam, her shoe naturally is a cathouse, and there is a stereotypical 70u0026#39;s black pimp (Sy Richardson). u0026quot;Snow Whiteu0026quot;, of course, is getting it on with her seven dwarfs (for all you people out there with dwarf fetishes). u0026quot;Little Bo Peepu0026quot; has lost her sheep, and apparently her underwear too. Perhaps worst of all, this movie follows the unfortunate 70u0026#39;s trend of being an annoying musical (i.e. u0026quot;Alice in Wonderlandu0026quot;, u0026quot;The First Nudie Musicalu0026quot;) because, of course, thereu0026#39;s a great intersection of musical fans and softcore porn fans.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eBut let me focus on the positive (what little there is). There is a very early if mostly wasted appearance by a young Linnaea Quigley (who gets naked natchu0026#39;). Evelyn Guerrero, who had a memorable role in u0026quot;Cheech and Chongu0026#39;s Nice Dreamsu0026quot;, has a cameo role (with full-frontal nudity) as one of the u0026quot;S and M Dancersu0026quot;. And perhaps most memorable is Tai Bonet as u0026quot;Schrenednazeu0026quot; (from u0026quot;Arabian Nightsu0026quot;) doing a naked belly dance (for some reason for Mother Gooseu0026#39;s u0026quot;Old King Coleu0026quot;) while rubbing oil all over herself. You just donu0026#39;t see naked belly dancing everyday. But is any of this worth enduring the rest of this movie? Uh, no. Watch u0026quot;Grimmu0026#39;s Fairy Tale for Adultsu0026quot; instead”
