A continuation of the ongoing battle between the Scouting Regiment and the Titans. As the battle continues to unravel, Eren Jäeger, a soldier fighting the Titans for vengeance, is finding out an incredible secret that’ll leave the whole Scouting Regiment confused, but unsure on what to do and if it’s really Eren. Will the Scouting Regiment realize what he is and will they be able to stop the Titans?
User Reviews: Like in the prequel, the part two of the SnK live-action adaptation strayed way too far from the storyline of the manga and anime, and in fact the new plot was much worse! All the main elements of the original story were missing, the Titans weren’t explained at all, and some parts towards the ending weren’t even that clear (not to mention that live-action Hanji was noticeably less likeable than in the anime, with all that yelling throughout the movie).
To be fair, it’s not all bad, though. The apocalyptic atmosphere was well-set and the Titans were scary enough. However, what’s the point of good CGI and imagery when the story, which is just as important, is absolutely no good?
If you’re interested then there’s no stopping you in watching this adaptation, but just don’t come out regretting and thinking that you’ve just wasted your time. After all, Levi and Ymir did say that one should not have any regrets about what they do. Well, if you’re a fan of the SnK anime and manga like me, it’s simply safer to not watch it.
