“Mini? It was over before we knew it. One disk, 2 episodes. Thatu0026#39;s it. We bought the series to see Claire Goose, an actress we enjoyed in the long-running WAKING THE DEAD. Also included is Peter Firth of MI-5 fame, and veteran player, Pippa Haywood, as a sympathetic detective.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eClaire plays Jane Phillips, a young wife and mother whose own mom was mysteriously murdered over 2 decades before. While having a physical, she notices a doctor who looks like the killer and reports him. No one believes her – except one cop, who will be furloughed shortly (Pippa). We initially have our doubts, especially when a DNA test meets with unexpected results.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAn interesting show-however, typically a true mini-series runs 4 hours-this one was less than 2. I had this series sent from the UK for a premium price. There was certainly room for more character u0026amp; plot development, but I will credit the writers for coming up with a fresh twist on Forensics (one that sent us scurrying to the WWW for verification).u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e8/10”
