“This film recounts post IInd world war exploits from the official biography of the man who ruled Rumania for many years, Nicolae Ceausescu. As Ceausescu was at the height of his power over the country at the time this film was made, this is a very, very careful film. Questions of propaganda and historical accuracy aside, the filmu0026#39;s dramatizations of Ceausescuu0026#39;s early power struggles and the principles he sets forth for the administration of government are very interesting. Also, the movie has an irony which is more evident if you watch the movie now, especially the younger generation which doesnu0026#39;t know almost anything about the communist regime in post war Romania. In this movie you will see a suite of very good Romanian actors which did their best to do a good movie.”
