Now, I didnu0026#39;t figure u0026quot;Watch Phoenix Riseu0026quot; for a movie from Maverick Entertainment, as the cover was not one of their generic and formulaic covers that they tend to use.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWriter Damon A. Hart put together a generic script to say the least. It was a rather mundane storyline, and the characters were mostly stereotypical caricatures. And the dialogue wasnu0026#39;t exactly noteworthy. I have to say that I was starting to zone out and drift off not even 30 minutes into the ordeal. But by then I was just struggling to keep an interest in the pointless narrative.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eBut it wasnu0026#39;t all bad though, because the movie at least was a step up from the usual dumpster fire of stereotypical dribble that Maverick Entertainment usually dish out.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI was not familiar with the actresses and actors on the cast list. While that is usually something I do enjoy when I sit down to watch a movie, it just wasnu0026#39;t applicable here, because many of the performances were wooden.
