“7.7/10 STARS – This was pretty funny. Iu0026#39;m not generally a fan of comedies, but Iu0026#39;d been hearing good things about this so I decided to give it a go. Lifelong friends and roommates Dreux and Alyssa are having a bad day and it just gets worse and worse for them. The setup is that Alyssa is kind of dumb when it comes to guys and she gave their rent money to her latest stud muffin, who proceeds to spend it all. So Dreux and Alyssa have to scramble to get rent money together before they get evicted at the end of the day. To top it all off, Dreux has an interview later in the day for a possible promotion in her job, so of course everything under the sun gets in the way of her trying to get there on time AND have a good interview. The worst parts about this film for me were the ridiculous actions of the character Alyssa – some of the things she did were so stupid and made no sense. I get that itu0026#39;s supposed to be in her character to behave that way (and of course those things were pivotal to the plot), but could someone really be that dumb? This isnu0026#39;t a u0026quot;Dumb and Dumberu0026quot; movie, for goodnessu0026#39; sake! Anyway, it was frustrating to see how hard Dreux tried to fix things only for her silly friend to make things worse. I get that itu0026#39;s played for comedy, but some of that stuff felt a bit over the top. HOWEVER, it certainly wasnu0026#39;t enough to make me not like the film – I actually enjoyed it a lot and if you like comedy (or specifically female-centric comedy), this will probably sit well with you too. At this point, I just have one question: Can we have Keke Palmer in the role of Storm soon? Pleaseandthankyou. Video review to come soon.”
