“u0026quot;Godu0026#39;s Not Dead: In God We Trustu0026quot; opens in a frighteningly timely way, with the United States in turmoil and our religious freedoms being threatened and attacked. This film absorbed me from the opening scene and brought a wonderful sense of nostalgia with actual footage of Reagan, Kennedy, and more.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIt was nice to see some actors from my youth, such as Scott Baio, Dean Cane, and Charlene Tilton. There are also wonderful Biblical one-liners (so-to-speak) that could be used in daily life, but especially when tempted to recompense evil with evil.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eI love how David proves that you donu0026#39;t have to alter or compromise your beliefs when you become a political figure. And you donu0026#39;t have to tear someone down to make yourself look better. I love how he prays before making important decisions. And the debates between he and Kane are enjoyable to watch…especially when one of them takes a…sort of stumble… (no spoilers!)u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThis family-friendly film shares important political views, Godly principles, and a Biblical vision on humanity. A movie about who will win a senate seat wouldnu0026#39;t normally draw me in, get my blood pumping, or give me a feeling of hope, but this one certainly does!u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eSome of the core themes I garnered from this film are that we all have a vote, God gives us hope, and even when things look dismal-God is still in control. The end of the film offers a QR code encouraging viewers to register to vote. I hope and pray this motivates Christians to speak loudly in the upcoming election and that they hold on to their faith, their voice, and their vote.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu0026quot;If we ever forget weu0026#39;re one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.u0026quot; -Ronald Reaganu003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eMany thanks to Pinnacle Peak Pictures for providing a sample of the product for this review.
