“We saw this film as part of the Purbeck Film festival and it appealed to a diverse crowd. It was quirky and poignant, familiar yet different, with little Indian cinema references thrown in here and there. There were several laugh out loud moments and the story was engaging, with several plot twists that melded Bollywood drama with real life drama for many British Asians. Some of the characters share a real love hate relationship with the audience and take you on a complex journey; I think everyone will find something in the storyline to identify with and to tug at the heartstrings. The whole party, ages ranging from 11-50 enjoyed the movie.”
