“Flipped through Netflix and found this. Liked this more than I thought I would.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThis is the 2nd film in a 4-part series. They throw you in the deep end without backstory, but I didnu0026#39;t have much trouble figuring out based on the context.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThis film revolves around a group of teens with powers whou0026#39;re trying to shut down a supernatural event that brings monsters into the world each day for an hour. There is a very dramatic for two of the characters, which I wonu0026#39;t reveal.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe film moves at a leisurely pace deftly handling both drama/dialogue and action. I liked all the myriad characters and the humor. The big climax is effective and touching.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eAnimation is beautiful in this. One of the best looking anime films of the decade. The monster designs are distinctive. Macabre/whimsical if you will.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eSadly, the cost of the films (which are imported instead of distributed through American companies) are pricey and none of the other films are on Netflix.”
