“This thrash slasher dark comedy about u0026quot;American Black Metalu0026quot; (not NSBM) bandu0026#39;s show gone awry is as enjoyable for a rock fan, as the Green Room or u0026quot;Bill u0026amp; Tedu0026quot; series, despite its lower budget. Haters can find many reasons starting with blasphemy, but I recommend it to you Metal brotherhood for many reasons starting with the protagonistu0026#39;s background, which I can relate to, and to Sisterhood as well, if youu0026#39;d like to hang out with us ;)u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eSo the flick is lacking 5 000 000 budget to make sound as realistic and captivating as u0026quot;Green Roomu0026quot;: most action happens during a Metal gig, but this is not used to the full. However, the original music is versatile and u0026quot;trueu0026quot;, and the Lyrics+Animation comic grindcore track during the credits is hilariously NON politically-correct in a very 90s way.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe mood is very metal instead, though Iu0026#39;ve deliberately not reviewed u0026quot;Bill u0026amp; Ted Face the Musicu0026quot; of respect to 80s hair metal and coming of age movies. And though there are some great vibes in this Bill u0026amp; Ted sequel, but Iu0026#39;d rather see them watching or participating in this gig, instead of u0026quot;Grandmau0026#39;s Incineratoru0026quot;, or the protagonists being their children ;)u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eSpeaking of which, lead actors have played their roles OK: lady has appropriate character development (for a teenage flick), and the lad could be less placid in dialogue and overall more like u0026quot;Hasheru0026quot; movie, though he unleashes his passion u0026quot;on stageu0026quot; so this looks like deliberate behaviour.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eDeathu0026#39;91 fans would appreciate the Nemesisu0026#39; appearance and there are numerous homages and references to Metalhead culture.”
