On the Edge of Freedom: Directed by Anita Mathal Hopland, Jens Lengerke. On the Edge of Freedom is a film about being young and fearless in the conflict-ridden post-Soviet. We follow two young roofers who, with no safety measures, conquer the tallest buildings and the deepest abysses in Russia and Ukraine. There are certainly enough reasons to be afraid in today’s Russia and Ukraine, but these young people have found their very own way to conquer fear with their death-defying stunts.
