Locked In: Directed by Damián Romay. With Josie Davis, Ryan Paevey, Kaleigh Rivera, Ian Bamberg. A convicted robber (lead villain) loses his wife and child after being sentenced to prison. While away he meets another crook who mentions a “job” he worked with a fellow thief that ended in a monumental score but also jail time for the pair. The second man hid the money at the home of his wife and teen-aged daughter before being sent to a separate facility than the first man including the lead villain. When he learns of the money’s whereabouts he escapes prison to head for the family’s farmhouse. When he arrives he masks his identity to the family, gaining their trust. But soon after they find the true reason behind his arrival. The story then turns into a fight for survival with the mother and daughter against the escaped prisoner.

“So after 15 years away from LMFC (Lifetime Movies for Chicks), wanting to expand my horizons beyond the true crime stories of the ID Channel, Iu0026#39;ve resumed watching LMFC. Frankly, I was and am shocked these movies are still made, given the explosion of video content since I last watched them.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eJosie Davis is apparently the current star en residence for LMFC. She seems to crank out about 5 a year. Iu0026#39;ve now seen her several times, but I actually did not recognize her in this flick, which says a little something positive for her acting abilities, at least on an LMFC scale.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eIu0026#39;m not much into plot summaries in my reviews. Plot summaries are for, well, plot summaries. Why didnu0026#39;t our grade and high school teachers teach us to review relevant aspects of a movie/book/play/show rather than regurgitate the plot?u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eFor a LMFC, this was reasonably well-acted and engaging. It was plot #11 from the limited LMFC playbook. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eHere is my favorite part, one of the reasons I watch LMFC, the faux pas:u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e1. Killer says his car windows were stuck open and he was getting soaked in the torrential downpour. But when Taylor and Blake go to check out the car, they donu0026#39;t even notice or comment on the fact that the windows were up.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e2. Taylor, Blake, Killer and Sheriff have all been outside in the torrential downpour. However, when inside, none of them are wet.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eEnjoy this 5-star LMFC!”
