“When seeing a Ryan Reynolds film one has to keep a very low expectation of the movie whilst maintaining a very high level of comedic response. However this movie for me falls just short of diamonds like Deadpool.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003e(SPOILER FREE)nThe combination of Ryan Reynolds and Jodie Comer works beautifully and the pop culture references seem to integrate seamlessly into the movie without seeming contrived and out of place. When famous people appear they do so at the right time and for the right amount of time allowing a certain novelty about the film and making it seem more important in status than the main cast itself may warrant. All in all Ryan and Takia Watiti have made a fun, albeit heart warming film that surprisingly renders the watcher happy and most importantly smiling.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eWould recommend as a light hearted watch but there are deeper more fundamental aspects you may be sucked into so be aware.”
