Fugly: Directed by Kabir Sadanand. With Jimmy Sheirgill, Mohit Marwah, Kiara Advani, Vijender Singh. Four friends fight against a corrupt police officer who extorts money from them for not framing them in a murder which the officer committed himself.

“u0026#39;Fuglyu0026#39; is a well-intentioned film, that delivers a noble message, that being, off fighting for whatu0026#39;s right. Its A Decent Effort! Its not perfect, but not without merit either. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu0026#39;Fuglyu0026#39; tells the story of 4 friends – Dev, Gaurav, Aditya u0026amp; Devi, whose fun filled u0026amp; care free life comes to an abrupt halt, when they are pitted against an extremely corrupt Police Officer. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eu0026#39;Fuglyu0026#39; has a super first-hour, where the light-moments u0026amp; the dramatic moments, both, work well. In the second-hour, the film begins to slip. The desired impact seems missing u0026amp; even the series of events its characters encounter, are ordinary. Even the culmination, for that matter, is half-baked. In short, u0026#39;Fuglyu0026#39; starts off pretty well, but runs out of gas after a while.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eThe Screenplay is decent, but overall, the narrative isnu0026#39;t as hard-hitting as expected. Kabir Sadanandu0026#39;s Direction is fair. Cinematography, Editing u0026amp; Action-Sequences, are alright. Music by Various Artists, is good.u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003ePerformance-Wise: Mohit Marwah does a decent job. Vijender Singh is strictly okay. Arfi Lamba is efficient. Kiara Advani is the pick of the lot. She looks gorgeous u0026amp; delivers a highly competent performance. Mansha Bahl is very cute. But its Jimmy Shergill who steals the show. Heu0026#39;s excellent as the villainous, corrupt cop. u003cbr/u003eu003cbr/u003eOn the whole, u0026#39;Fuglyu0026#39; is a fair entertainer.”
