“Based on the title, I was expecting a film about actual events that happened in Appalachia. However, this was not the case. The tales were pure fiction – they could have occurred anywhere. The only ties to Appalachia are the filmmakers are from Tennessee and it was filmed in Tennessee. This would be like calling every film shot in Hollywood u0026quot;Tales from Hollywoodu0026quot;. However, as to the Tales themselves: the first one was good with a nice twist ending, the second was stupid, and the last one was interesting.”
